Foxtrot

Foxtrot is a close cousin to Waltz, sharing most of the same figures, but using a slow-quick-quick timing.  It is elegant, classical, and fun.

Traditionally, Foxtrot was taught in Cued Ballroom only after students had learned the first two phases of Waltz, but this is changing.  Our club teaches Intro classes in Foxtrot, and we generally add a Foxtrot section to the end of our beginner Waltz class.
